We’re the sisters behind Hygge in a Box, and we’re thrilled to share our love of hygge with you!

Growing up on the Canadian prairies, we found joy in simple traditions—family dinners, pickling vegetables, and gathering around a fire with hot chocolate in hand. Cozy moments have always been at the heart of our lives, whether skiing through snowy trails, camping under the stars, or exploring vintage shops.

Life can be overwhelming, and we believe everyone deserves a pause—a chance to slow down, be present, and embrace warmth and comfort. That’s why we created Hygge in a Box—a little dose of coziness and mindfulness, delivered straight to you. We hope each box brings you joy, relaxation, and a moment of pure hygge!

Instead of monthly boxes, we chose to offer larger, seasonal boxes packed with hygge-inspired treasures, including cozy essentials, recipes, DIY projects, and mindful living tips—designed to be enjoyed until the next season arrives.

While we may not have Scandinavian roots, we are proud Canadians from one of the coldest provinces, where long, dark winters and fleeting summers have taught us to embrace each season to the fullest. We are deeply grateful to Denmark and the Nordic countries for bringing the concept of hygge into our lives.
